Our First Aid at Work (FAW) 3-Day Course provides comprehensive training for individuals who are required to act as a workplace first aider. This course meets the requirements set out by the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and follows current HSE and Resuscitation Council UK guidelines. Delivered by experienced medical professionals, this course combines practical hands-on training with clear, real-world instruction, ensuring you leave confident in your ability to respond to emergencies. Course Overview Over three days, you will learn how to assess incidents, manage injuries and illnesses, and provide lifesaving treatment until professional medical help arrives. What You Will Learn During the course you will cover: 🔴The role and responsibilities of a workplace first aider 🔴Assessing an emergency situation safely 🔴Adult CPR and use of an AED (defibrillator) 🔴Dealing with an unconscious casualty 🔴Choking 🔴Severe bleeding and shock 🔴Burns and scalds 🔴Fractures, sprains and spinal injuries 🔴Heart attacks and strokes 🔴Seizures 🔴Allergic reactions and anaphylaxis 🔴Minor injuries including cuts, bruises and eye injuries 🔴Recording and reporting incidents Who Should Attend This course is ideal for: ✅Workplace first aiders ✅Employers meeting HSE first aid requirements ✅Construction, industrial and office staff ✅Anyone responsible for health and safety in the workplace 📑Certification Upon successful completion, delegates will receive a First Aid at Work certificate valid for 3 years.
